May Cannery Schedule

Sisters, now is the time to submit your orders and payment for the May Cannery schedule.  The order form is above for your reference.  The deadline for payment is

Sunday, May 12th. 

 

If you have not ordered from the cannery before, and have questions, you may contact Sister Janice Fleming.  This is an excellent way to provide for your family and

build your food storage.

 

This Little Piggy Relief Society Activity

Sisters,

for the Relief Society Activity,

"This Little Piggy".

 

We will have fun classes to attend.

A dinner for us and a nursery for the little ones

will be provided! 

 

Stake Day of Service Coming Soon

The Stake Day of Service is coming soon..... The dates are Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18th.  If you are interested in going, even for one day, you need to register.  The Stake will be providing some activities for your children on Saturday morning and they will be providing meals for the weekend so they need to know how many to prepare for....

Please contact Brother Chris Clements at 875-1266 or Sister Sandy McClure at 480-5084 to register you and your family.  They wanted the count last week, so please contact them right away!

Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice!

We have the wonderful oppurtunity to listen to the counsel of the Prophet and our General Authorities this weekend.  General Conference starts on Saturday, April 6th and continues on Sunday,  April 7th.

Sessions are at 9 AM and 1 PM each day, with the Priesthood session on Saturday at 5 PM.

Sessions can be viewed on the following sites:

     *  Mormonchannel.org
     *  Mormon channel on your mobile apps
     *  Byu.tv
     *  Facebook.com/lds
     *  local TV stations
     *  the stake center

The sessions will be available within 24 hours of live broadcasting on conference.lds.org.

In addition, the sessions will be available to read and print on lds.org by Tuesday or Wednesday, the 9th and 10th of April.

We are so blessed to have a living Prophet on the earth today ~ to guide us and teach us the doctrines we need to return to our Heavenly Father.  Let us not pass on this opportunity to hear him and see his bright smile!
 

New times for Mutual on Wednesdays

 

Parents of all youth:

Mutual times have changed!

 

Beginning immediately, Mutual will start at 7 PM on Wednesdays.  The leaders ask that you

pick up your youth at 8:30 PM. 

 

Please do not be late for pick up.......  Thanks!

Relief Society Temple Trips in April

 

On Thursday, April 4th, 2013, the Relief Society will be going to the temple instead of having our usual mid-week meeting.  To aid you on your schedule, we will have two trips. 

 

The first will be in the morning.  We will meet at the church at 8:45 AM so we can attend a 10 AM session. 

 

If you would like to attend in the evening instead, please meet at the church by 5:45 PM so we can attend the 7 PM session.

 

We will have carpools for each trip.  Please sign up in the RS binders on Sunday or call a member of the RS presidency.

 

Please let us know if you would like to do baptisms so we can make arrangements at the temple for you.  (This would be for the evening session only.)
