One day to the fun!

Only one day left until the ES 1st ward RS Make 'n Take!  Today is the "gathering" day ~ gather your scissors, glue gun, items for the Home Decor Exchange, and lunch sacks for each child that will be in nursery.  Put your child's name on the sack and pack the lunch, if possible. We will see you tomorrow at 5 PM! 

Two days to go!

Only two days until our Relief Society Make 'n Take!  Remember to plan a dinner for your hubby and the children you are not bringing to the nursery......  Shop for the goodies you want to put into the sack lunches for the children you are bringing to the nursery. Lots of fun awaits you on Thursday!

Are you ready?  Only three days until we have the Make 'n Take for Relief Society!  Lots of good things are in store for you!  Have you visited your sisters on your Visiting Teaching route this month?  (hint, hint)

Countdown to Make 'n Take

Only 4 more days until the 2nd Annual Elkhorn Springs 1st Ward Make 'n Take!  Mark your calendar, Thursday, November 1st ~ 5 to 8:30 PM.  Dinner and nursery provided.  You can participate in all projects.  If you have not signed up, please contact a member of the RS presidency or Sandii May to do so.  We just need a headcount to make certain there are enough kits for everyone.

No reserving.  Must be present to participate.....  sorry....... 

Look for the binders and display table!

The 2nd Annual Make 'n Take is coming soon....... It will be held on Thursday, 1 November from 5 - 8:30 PM in the Cultural Hall. 

Look for the binders on Sunday to sign up for the projects. They will be going around in Relief Society and Young Womens. This table will be set up outside the Primary room on Sunday, Oct 21 for your convenience as well.  Sign up sheets and pens will be available at the table.  

You may sign up for each project and will have time to complete them all.  We just need a "head count" so we will have enough kits ready for you.  One kit per person, no reserving.  You must be present to participate....sorry.

If you have a UFO (Un Finished Object) that you would like help with, sign up in the binder.  We will have someone there to help you complete it.

The night will also include Wassail tasting & take home and a demo on Pumpkin Rolls. 

Also, check your house for those gently used decorating items you no longer use.  We will have a Home Decor exchange.  You can bring holiday or everyday decorating items - then take ones you would like to use in your home.  You don't need to donate to be able to choose new items..... All the items will be available, whether you brought an exchange or not. What a fun, inexpensive way to give our homes a "new look"!

Dinner and nursery will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch with the child's name on it for each child in the nursery.

Just a hint...... we will have a drawing for those who have completed their Visiting Teaching in the month of October...... You will like the drawing prize!
